I’m so excited to launch the Legacy Canyon series with A Texas-Sized Fake Out. To celebrate, here are a few tidbits:

  1. I was in the Panhandle for a writing workshop, which is why the book is set in my fictional town, which stands in for Canyon, Texas. My instructors were Jodi Thomas, Candace Havens, Jolene Navarro, and Teri Wilson, who are in the dedication.

  1. I got the idea of a meteorologist adopting twin boys from a real life story of one of our local weather newscasters in the St. Louis area.
  2. There’s actually the name of an auction winner in the book. Congrats to Alyssa Hernandez, who you’ll find at the start of Chapter Six. The purchase was a gift from her relative, Dyan.
