Oh the Places I will Go–Part 4 Behind the Books

Can you believe this month is almost over? Finally, I’m going to share a few of my favorite wineries, and some places on the St. Charles Riverfront. And two links to the balloon races that started it all, which if you’re in the area in September, you can catch.

Wineries:

Wild Sun Winery and Brewery. Love this place. If you ask me to sit at a winery, I want to go here.

Chandler Hill Vineyards. The view is the one that inspired Jamestown Winery in the Love in the Valley series.

There are other wineries on Highway 94, which inspired “Winery Road.”

Then, be sure to also check out these:

St. Charles Riverfront

Grandma’s Cookies. The inspiration for Auntie Jayne’s.

Festivals and tours. Go here for a look at some of the things I’ve attended and what inspired me to create my own versions for my stories.

Balloon Races

Great Forest Park Balloon Race The race that inspired it all. It’s happening Sept. 19-20, so you can plan now!

New Haven Balloon Race A week later Sept. 26-27 and much smaller, but no less fun.

Don’t forget to grab your copy of The Playboy Project before it leaves stores. If you loved it, let me know. I’ll be back with a new series called Legacy Canyon in January, but we’re moving to the Texas Panhandle. I hope you’ve enjoyed this look at what inspired me and places you can visit if you visit Missouri.
